THE ROLE

STEM FACILITATOR

We’re seeking a passionate educator to lead and facilitate STEM training sessions for students, delivering hands-on learning experiences in robotics, coding, drone technology, virtual reality, IoT, and other modern technology.

This role is perfect for someone who:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Delivery: Serve as the on-site STEM facilitator at an assigned partner school, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Lead engaging, hands-on lessons in robotics, coding, AI, and drone technology as part of the school’s regular program and scheduled workshops.
  • Saturday Club: Facilitate weekly 3-hour Saturday sessions and manage equipment setup/tracking. Saturday delivery is compensated as an additional incentive on top of the monthly salary.
  • Mentorship & Support: Guide students through projects, manage classroom dynamics, and update parents on progress.
  • Operations: Maintain STEM kits, troubleshoot basic hardware/software, and support event logistics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Diploma / BSc. in Education, Computer Science, Designing, or equivalent in related field
  • Experience & Passion: Passion for teaching children. Prior teaching, tutoring, or youth volunteering is preferred.
  • Location: Available to work on-site at a partner school in Bekwai Municipal, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, plus Saturday Club sessions.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Clear verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to explain complex concepts simply
  • Active listening and empathy

Learning & Adaptability

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching methods
  • Flexibility in fast-paced startup environment

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of robotics, coding, and STEM-related programs is a plus

Location

  • Must reside in Kumasi or surrounding areas (within an hour commute)
